Volunteers
We
rely on volunteers to keep our school and shelter running efficiently.
Often foreigners visiting Granada hear about our shelter and come
by to explore volunteer opportunities. We have been blessed with the
help of many such volunteers over the years. Project Esperanza is
a Christ-centered organization and, accordingly, we look for volunteers
with Christian values. The Lord has blessed us with the opportunity
to serve these children, and we want Him to be glorified in all that
we do according to His purpose.
If
you are interested in volunteering for a period of six months to one
year, please write to us at mariana@project-esperanza.com
for more information and to receive a FAQ sheet.
Volunteer
activities include teaching Spanish literacy or any other subjects,
Bible study, computer skills, cooking, arts & crafts, sports,
health education, and sponsoring field trips. Just spending time with
the kids means a great deal to them, and you can leave a lasting impression
on those whose lives you have touched.
We
welcome volunteers with “brazos abiertos!” (open arms)
